Department Of Education

The Department of Education of Kurukshetra University, established in the year 1963, has been widening its horizon over the years in the field of education. This department has been working on number f projects in the area of educational technology, Teaching and learning , Evaluation of Text Books prescribed by Haryana School Board, Teacher Education, Educational management, Development of Personality and Adjustment, Development of Audio Material and Computer assisted Materials, mental Health, Advanced statistical Techniques in behavioral Sciences and Educational Research.

The goals of the department are preparation of exposure to students in a variety of training programs and situations at all levels

Infrastructure

Library

The Department provides students with an in-house library facility which has about 400 books relating to teaching & research. Ph.D. thesis was also provided to the students for their help in the field of research.

Teaching Labs

The Department has labs i.e. Computer Lab and Psychological Lab Computer Lab are well equipped with Internet facilities and necessary software Test which have been frequently used by the students.

Resource Room for the Disabled

The Department has a fully equipped Resource Room with talking book studio and facilities for totally blind and low vision students. It has many teaching learning material for visually disabled students. It has computers for use of totally blind and low vision students.
