GMAT 2017 Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria
The GMAT is an international MBA entrance exam. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer based test which checks analytical writing and problem-solving abilities, addressing data sufficiency, logic, and critical reasoning skills which are necessary for Corporate World success.

- There are no specific GMAT eligibility criteria
- Any candidate, who is graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. The candidates should be minimum 18 years of age.
Candidates interested in applying for GMAT 2016 can do Registration and apply for the exam anytime as the registration can be done any time in a period of 12 months. The candidates need to register themselves by simply visiting the official website of GMAT - http://www.mba.com/. This is advantageous for the candidate that he/she can schedule an appointment for the exam by simply filling the examination date, examination centre, and the timings of the test according to their flexibility. In India, the GMAT Exam Score is accepted by the 100 B-schools and the test are conducted in 17 cities through 20 exam centres in India. The registration fee for GMAT 2016 can be done online and offline mode as well. The candidate applying for the test should know that he/she can go for the GMAT test only once within a month and not more than 5 times within complete 1 year.

The GMAT exam is the assessment for graduate business school candidates—it was designed by business schools to measure the skills shown to help graduate business students succeed in the challenging curriculum. A computer-adaptive exam that assesses Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing skills developed over time, the GMAT exam is a valid and reliable predictor of success in graduate business school.
GMAT exam is delivered via computer in individualized workstations. Being computer adaptive (rather than computer based) allows the GMAT exam to determine a test taker's true ability by selecting questions based on previous answers and the test design.

Quantitative Section: Two types of multiple-choice questions are asked in the Quantitative section: Problem solving and Data sufficiency
To answer Quantitative Section candidates must have knowledge of Arithmetic, Elementary algebra and concepts of geometry.
Verbal Section: The GMAT Verbal section checks the ability to read, to reason and evaluate arguments, and to correct written material to standard written English.
Three types of multiple-choice questions are asked in the Verbal section: Reading comprehension, Critical reasoning and Sentence correction.
Integrated Reasoning Section: The Integrated Reasoning section measures the ability to evaluate graphic, numeric and verbal information.
Four types of questions are used in the Integrated Reasoning section: Multi-Source Reasoning, Table Analysis, Graphics Interpretation and Two-Part Analysis

The admit card is an important document that is required on the day of the examination as it is an entry ticket for appearing in any exam. Registered candidates can download the GMAT admit card 2016 online from the official website: http://www.mba.com/. The admit card contains the candidates details and exam details that include Candidates Roll Number, Name, Gender, Registration Number, Examination centre and Timings.
The GMAT Result will be announced within a couple of days in the official website of GMAT www.mba.com. When the Result is declared the candidates have two options of accepting and decline. If the candidate is satisfied with his/her score, then he may click on accept, after that the score will be shown to all the associated institutes. If the candidate wants to retake the test or is not satisfied with the result, then he can click on decline.
