Course Details:

The master in Human Resource Development (MHRD), is a two years postgraduate management degree course in India. The study provides basic and in-depth knowledge about Human development which are Human Development (Biology / Humanity), Development psychology and Human Development index. The Master’s study provides knowledge of the social and political context of development, communication skills, integration of theory into practical and research by providing proper guidance to take on leadership roles.

The course study helps the candidate in identifying the ways through which human recourses can be managed effectively to meet the changing demands of the industry. The course acts as the basis for higher educational programs in the area of management. The study process the skills like problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing.

The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in an academic discipline such as Child development, Techniques of Child Study, Statistics, Family Dynamics and Welfare, Research Methodology, Theories of Human Development, Computer Orientation, Guidance & Counselling, Parent and Community Education, Thesis writing.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree like Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s Degree professional study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.

Further Study

After the successful completion of master’s degree course, candidates can pursue for, Ph.D. (Doctorate in Human Resource Development) or do specialization and research oriented work in their respective field.
