The Master of personnel Management (MPM), is a two years postgraduate level academic master degree course in India related to personal and Human Resource Function of an Organization. The study is designed to adequate professional skills and competence to achieve the functions of Human Resource development and Management.
The master study plays a vital role to achieve productivity and profitability. The course covers every aspect of Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, Organizational Behaviour, Industrial Grievance Handling, Law, Information Technology, Trade Union, Industrial Relation.
The study is designed to possess good organizational skill and ability to coordinate all the individuals as a team and make them work together. The job is related to recruitment, training and development, Job appraisal, promotion, keeping an eye on the idleness of employees, maintaining good employer and employee relation maintaining all personal records and implement career development programs. The study programmes are component and contrasted with lecture and discussion classes. It’s a special management study, The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of academic discipline Like Organizational Development, Human Rights, Strategic (Human Resource Management), Human Resource Information system, Research Methodology, Quantitative Techniques for Managers, Labour Legislation, Training and Development, Industrial Relation and Labour Welfare, Compensation Management.
The candidate who have completed Bachelor Degree like Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or an Equivalent Examination, from any stream such candidates are eligible to take admission in master's study program.
This course requires 2 years of the time period in India. It’s a full-time degree course, but some student use part-time and distance learning the educational program and one can also go for online study option to earn master's degree in our country.
