All of us have 24 hrs in a day. Its all upon us how we manage them wisely. A working professional who does something other than his hard core job has to take judicious decisions to make things work for him . Time which is not properly managed will never come back. It is very correctly said “when money is lost nothing is lost but when time is lost everything is lost “. A person who is not a full time trainer and manages his business and job has to do a lot of planning to be successful in both spheres.

I used to think over few things again and again but pondered over some questions. Is it our thought process or our doings which mold our destiny ? Why are few people more successful then the rest of the masses ? Why few people get success easily while others strive hard for it ? Why few people are successful at a very early age than the rest of the masses ? I asked many people but they could not answer to my satisfaction. Finding answer to these questions was not an easy task because the person who always gave me suggestions as to what to do and what not to do was not much successful.

Employees are backbone of an organization. They make an organization succeed or fail. Recruitment is the process of tapping right talent for the Corporation. Companies have methods to recruit more effectively by measuring 'time to fill' and 'cost per hire'. Time to fill is the time gap for recruiting the new employee and cost per hire is the cost incurred in hiring new employee. These methods help in measuring the employees performance to a small extent as it is followed just during hiring process.

Performance Appraisal is the process of assessing the performance of an employee within a given time period by a Manager or supervisor. It helps in measuring the exact performance of the employee, his strengths and weaknesses and the required improvements.

Doing a good Job and not getting promoted ? Working hard and yet not getting recognized ? There is something which is seriously going wrong. Merely working hard or becoming a good worker will not get you promoted. There are few things which should be kept in mind while seeking promotion from your employer. Job Rotation is a process of preparing employees at a lower level to replace someone at the next higher level. Job rotation is practiced in corporate sector to avoid boredom and complacency in employees. I have seen people making career choices Just for the sake of making money. Be true to yourself and work accordingly. Teenagers start thinking seriously about their career at the age of 14 or 15. They seriously work hard during exams to get good grades so that they can give a good start to their career.

Its 21st century and we are adapting to new work culture. Gone are the days when we used to put all our stress on work neglecting our health.
