Department Of Pharmaceutical Chemistry
It is an interdisciplinary subject composed of mainly chemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biology, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, microbiology, biochemistry and process chemistry. It has wide applications in the manufacturing of the fifth generation drugs. It finds its application in research and drug designing, production of better quality of drugs, economically viable.
The alumni of our department are well placed in various Pharmaceutical and other industries and also in various education institutions including government PU Colleges, Degree colleges and Universities. The department is well equipped with sophisticated instruments like HPLC, GCMS, IR-spectrophotometer, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and etc. It is situated in the newly constructed Science Block with sufficient laboratories and other infrastructure.
