Electronics is the branch of science dealing with the development and application of devices and systems involving the flow of electrons in a vacuum, in gaseous media and in semiconductors. Electronics has extended its wings to nearly every field impacting our day to day life. Electronics has applications in various fields such as communication engineering, medical field, agriculture etc. Job prospects for post graduate students include industries in Electronics, Information Technology (IT), Biomedical Instrumentation etc., operating on designing, planning, building and repairing of electronic products. M. Sc graduates in Electronics can find various job openings under Government sector and are eligible to teach at Under Graduate, Graduate, and Post Graduate levels.
