Department of PG studies and research in Chemistry is started in the year 2012 with an ambition to provide quality education in chemistry to the women students. As emphasis is rising over the basic sciences the university started the chemistry department to meet the need of basic science education to our women students. The importance chemistry is well known to everybody. It has tremendous applications in the chemical industries like drugs, dyes, paints, refineries, pesticides, fertilizers, any synthetic materials industries. Its application in educational institutions as teacher, lecturer, and professor is indispensable.
