Department of French Studies

The teaching of French started at the University in 1948 at the Department of Foreign Languages. A separate Department was established in 1982. The faculty is actively involved in research in Comparative Literature and Translation Studies. It proposes to offer short-term courses in spoken French, Functional French and Creative Writing.
