Department of zoology & Aquaculture

Since 1967, the Department of zoology specialized in the field of Aquatic Biology with Limnology and Fisheries. Considering the importance of Aquaculture, MSc Aquaculture Course is started in the year 1994. The Department has acquired expertise in the areas of Aquatic Toxicology, Biodiversity, Fish Nutrition, Fish diseases, Immunology and endocrilogy. The faculty do investigations on varied aspects of fish, frog, broilers and mice as experimental models.
