Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management
As apart of offering market oriented and professional courses Acharya Nagarjuna University has started the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, keeping in view the growing demand for the skilled people who can render their services in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors. The Department has started offering a Two-year-Four Semester – Regular –English Medium Course, Master of Tourism and Travel Management from the academic year 2005-2006. The course is structures in such a way that it is equivalent to MBA- Tourism Studies offered by National Institutes such as IITTM (Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management. Gwalior and Other Universities elsewhere in the country. The course id offered under the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies. The course includes 24-papers spread over four semesters and the pedagogy includes regular seminars, group discussions, case analysis, field visits and interactions with professional people in the field. The Dept has achieved 100% placements since industries.
