Students of IMS Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) became the finalists at India Design Contest (IDC) 2016

Students from Fashion Design Department of IMS DIA, Sakshi Sharma, Nikhil Singh and Shreyansh Jaiswal has achieved a milestone by becoming the finalists at “India Design Contest (IDC) 2016” held at Kochi, Kerala recently. It is one of its kind contests that provide unique platform for identifying and nurturing the designers in talented aspirants of Indian origin across the country.

On their achievement, all three students jointly said, “We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for this wonderful opportunity provided to us at our institute IMS DIA. It is a great moment of pride & honour and our love and passion for designing has been concreted by this unique achievement”.

Expressing his views, Ankur Gulati, Dean Marketing and Branding at IMS DIA said, “By sending our students to such prestigious competitions, it provides them confidence and exposure to face the challenges in future. It is also an outstanding platform to come face to face with industry expert, who can raise the talents in our students. We congratulate all the three Sakshi Sharma, Nikhil Singh and Shreyansh Jaiswal for making to the finals and wish best for all their endeavors in coming days.”

India Design Contest (IDC) 2016 is the eagerly awaited event of every fashion design student and enthusiast throughout year. The contest aims to foster budding talent in fashion design and expose them to all aspects of fashion and allied businesses, showcasing and marketing their designs.
