Sylvester Singh & Sumit Paliwal, students of Interactive Animation and Graphics at IMS - Design & Innovation Academy, Noida (IMS DIA), one of the leading design Institutes in the country has recently won the prestigious photography competition “Face of India" organised by NDTV in association with Getty Images, the world leader in visual communications. It is one of its kind contests that provide unique platform for identifying and nurturing photography talents of Indian origin across the country.
After winning the competition both students, Sylvester Singh "Sumit Paliwal jointly said, “We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for this wonderful opportunity provided to us at our institute IMS DIA. It is a great moment of pride" honour and our love and passion for photography has been concreted by this unique achievement”.
Face of India is an amateur and enthusiast photography award, dedicated to shining a spotlight on upcoming non-professional and student photographers of Indian origin only from around the world. It has one mission; to discover and celebrate portrait photography and providing Indian raw talents an access to Getty Images and also an opportunity to take your photography to the next level. Portrait was the theme for the competition which is much more complex than just a beautiful face, or a well- staged family photograph.
