11th Annual Convocation of IMS DIA held at their campus

IMS Design & Innovation Academy (DIA), Noida

IMS Design and Innovation Academy (IMS DIA), one of the leading design Institutes in the country recently organised its 7 the Annual Convocation at their campus in Noida. 55 students received their diploma. The graduating students were from the batch 2012-2016.

Mr Piyush Gupta, Owner, PP Jewellers was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. The programme commenced by the lighting of the traditional lamp, followed by a presentation of the annual report by Mr Ankur Gulati (HOD, Fashion). Diploma were handed over by Ms Nidhi Bhasin (HOD, Interior); Mr Gaurav Sharma (HOD, Jewellery), Mr Anaik Singh (HOD, Animation) and Mr Ankur Gulati (HOD, Fashion) covering the academic and other achievements by the graduating students. Two students of each of the four departments were awarded Medals of Honour for Academic and Creative Excellence.

Speaking on the occasion, Ankur Gulati, Dean Marketing and Branding at IMS DIA said, “We are extremely happy that our batch has successfully graduated this year. With this convocation, there is a launch of fresh minds of our graduates ready to showcase their knowledge, skills and talent that they
have acquired and developed during their course in IMS DIA. We believe in their dreams, innovative spirits and hope they take all that has been taught to them in their stride and shine brightly in future.”

The event concluded with the Convocation Address to the students by the Chief Guest, where he wished the students very best for all their future endeavours.

IMS Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) to host DIA Design Day

IMS - Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) one of the pioneering Design Institute of the country, is organizing DIA Design Day in their campus premises. It is a two day event from December 20th to 21st, 2016 where the students of IMS DIA will exhibit their work. India’s probably only industry integrated design program. This event is specially organized to promote brighter future and possibilities in the field of designing.

Students of IMS Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) participated in The FoAID 2016 (Festival of Architects and Interior Designers)

Students of Semester 4 of Batch 2014 of Interior Design Department of IMS DIA, Jhalak Aggarwal, Mayank Bhambotra and Shubham Singh along with their mentors Ms. Neha Jain, Mr. Shashank Aggarwal and Ms. Nidhi Bhasin has participated in The FoAID 2016 held at The Lalit, New Delhi recently. The students have secured 2nd position with the cash prize of Rs. 25,000 in Students Competition Expressions organised during the event.

Students of Interior Design Department of IMS Design Innovative Academy (IMS DIA) have taken inspiration module from a popular bollywood song ‘Aao sikhau tumhe ande ka funda, ye nahi pyare koi mamuli banda’ as the theme and created a restaurant ‘ANDE KA FUNDA’ in their premises recently. The interior of this restaurant has been designed keeping in mind the food served, which creates an amazing and realistic ambience.

IMS - Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) one of the pioneering Design Institute of the country has recently organised a three-day orientation programme who ushered in the new academic year 2016-2020, amid an environment of learning and fun. The event witnessed all the faculty members and officials of DIA as they inspired the students to embark on this new journey with the institute.
