Department of Veterinary Physiology
The department of Veterinary Physiology offers four courses to the under-graduate students as per VCI syllabus. The course outline, practical manual and teaching materials of all the courses are provided to the students. It has very well equipped laboratory for conducting the undergraduate practicals related to hematology, urinalysis, cardiovascular, digestive, reproductive, growth and environmental physiology. The department has projection microscope with CCTV monitor, Physiograph and LCD facilities for the demonstration of practicals. The department has procured cup anemometer, wind vane, hygrometer, psychrometer, dry&wet bulb thermometer, min & max thermometer, lux meter, sun shine recorder, rain gauge and Stevenson screen to establish the meteorology laboratory. The department will offer post graduate courses from the academic year 2008-2009 as minor/supporting courses to the students majoring in related disciplines.
