Department of Fisheries Environment and Ecology
Nature is holistic, complex, interconnected and systematic. Lack of understanding and appreciation of the environment and natural resources have resulted in depletion of resources, degradation of environment and natural resources have resulted in depletion of resources, degradation of environment and human misery. Article 21 of the constitution enshrines the right to life. Thus the state has the fundamental duty to protect its citizen against all types of exploitation and ensure protection of traditional home and right to life and livelihood. In this direction the department of Fisheries Environment and Ecology has formulated under graduate and postgraduate courses to understand the nature and minimize the adverse impacts through suitable management measures. The department of Fisheries Environment and Ecology is offering 8 Undergraduate courses, 15 Masters degree courses, and 10 Ph D courses.
