MSc Economics Admission 2014, Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE), Pune

Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE) under Symbiosis International University, Pune has announced admissions to M.Sc Economics programme for 2014 session. It is a two-year full time course. This Master's degree consists of Economic Theory, Statistics, Mathematics and Econometrics. SSE offers a very quantitative M.Sc Economics programme.

Eligibility for MSc Economics 2014 :

The graduate candidates (from any university) with a minimum of 50% marks with exposure to Economics/Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics can apply

B.E/ B.Tech graduates are also eligible to apply

Students appearing for final examination can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination

The programme will commence from 23rd July 2014

Reservation of seats:

The following will be reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian Students

Scheduled Caste -15%

Scheduled Tribe - 7.5%

Differently abled - 3%

Kashmiri Migrants - 2 over and above programme intake

Intake Procedure: Students will be selected on the basis of academic merit, Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT)

Sanctioned Intake: 40 students
