The Admission Committee for Post Graduate in Management Programme shall be responsible for conducting the Management Programme admission procedure for the academic session 2013-2014 Ahmedabad University (AU) is a self-financed non-affiliating university promoted by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES)

The 1-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a part time programme specially designed for young individuals who are working as middle/junior level executives/officers but have not had an opportunity to acquire format management education The programme, consisting of 17 courses, is spread over 2 semesters with classes being held 4 times a week The programme has been designed to accommodate the hectic schedule of working professional giving him/her an opportunity for acquiring professional knowledge in a more conducive and less stressful manner

The programme content spread over 2 Semesters will cover the following courses:
Managerial Communication; Managerial Statistics; Accounting for Managers; Corporate Financial; Principles and Practices of Mgmt; Marketing Mgmt; Mgmt Human Behaviour at work; Managing world class operations; Information systems for managers; Strategy; Managerial Economics; Business Law; Human Resource Mgmt; Leadership Skills for 21 Century; Designing Effective Organizations; Self-Management

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for admission to be the programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme
Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s /Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply
Those with substantial years of work experience but without a format degree may also apply

Selection Procedure:
All eligible applicants will be called for an interview and will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview
The candidates will be required to produce their original certificates and mark-sheet at the time of the interview

Programme Fees:
Full course fee would be Rs. 28,000/-
The candidates has an option to pay in 2 installments

The AES Post Graduate Institute of Business Management (AESPGIBM) was established in the year 2000 by the AES. We at AESPGIBM have sought to continuously enhance the quality and delivery of our programmes and the capabilities of the students. AESPGIBM is approved by AICTE, and is a constituent of the School of Management and Commerce, Ahmedabad University. It currently offers a two year MBA and other short duration programs. The MBA programme is a two year programme with six trimesters, and is innovative and contemporary in its design.
