As an important step in the academic initiative of CUB towards developing quality human resource for technology and research needs of the society and nation, a computer science department was started under the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. The department currently offers a two year M.Sc. program in computer science. A judicious set of theory and practical/project intensive courses ensure that the student graduating from here come out with solid foundation and right skill set to make mark in industry or research.

Well qualified and dedicated faculty members pay individual attention to students and ensure good learning experience for them. A dedicated computer laboratory, equipped with latest equipments, makes the program more effective by providing an excellent environment for students to engage in creative and innovative software/hardware projects. Industry collaboration and career counselling cells will become operations soon.
