Department of History
Department of History was opened in the year 2005 under Gauhati University with three guest faculties initially and later recruited another guest faculty. It was run by the guest faculties till the appointment of a permanent faculty in the year 2008. Moreover, it was run by one permanent faculty with the help of young and energetic guest faculties till the appointment of permanent ones in the month of September, 2012 under Bodoland University.
