Department of Botany
The Department of Botany is a newly established of Bodoland University in the year 2014. The motto of department is to promote an integrated understanding of utilization of plants based resource in various disciplines and to explore the underlying mechanisms for promoting eco-friendly environment. The department is currently offering M.Sc. degree in Botany. The syllabus is in accordance with the current syllabus of Gauhati University with minor modification for the current session. However, the department is adopting measures to update new syllabus to facilitate appearing eligibility test of academic importance.
