Department of Bodo
The Department of Bodo has been introduced in the year of 1998 in the erstwhile Kokrajhar Campus of Gauhati University, now Bodoland University, to cater to the needs of quality education in the field of Language, Literature and culture etc. It had an intake capacity of 30 seats. The intake capacity of P.G. Course has been increased from 30 to 50 seats. At Present, the Department is also offering Ph.D. course from the session 2013-2014.
