Govt of India under the Directorship of Prof.D.Panduranga Rao , who is also the APSRTC Chair Professor of Transport Management. ITM functions on the Principle of interaction among the disciplines concerned with Planning , Economics, Management , Human Resources Development , Safety and Behavioral Science, Engineering and Futurology. Department of Sociology A Post-Graduate course leading to the M.a. Degree in Sociology was first introduced in Andhra University in the year 1964 in the Department of Social Work and Sociology which later became the composite Department of Sociology, Social Work and IRPM.
