Government Degree College, Narsipatnam was established in 1984.The college was established through a Government Order vide G.O.Ms.No. 306 Edn.It is managed by government of Andhra Pradesh. The College is admitted into the U.G.C under 2F / 12B in 1993, which enables the institution to get financial assistance. College is accredited at B+ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC located at Bangalore, a UGC sponsored agency. Campus of Government Degree College - College developed its own campus in serence atmosphere, 4 kms away from the main town at Narsipatnam, in an extent of 13 acres with permanent buildings in a plinth area of 1612.8 sq.mtrs. College buildings are constructed in an area of 2.5 acres surrounded with compound wall constructed around the 11.10 acres.
