Undergraduate programe in Dr. L Bullayya college has its existence since 1973. B-com was the first course to be offered .The college was sanctioned govt. aid in the year 1976. At present the college offers UG courses in various disciplines. Principal is the head of the Institution and Dean holds the responsibility of all academic activities supported by two Asst. Deans. Present student strength in UG is 2653 . Faculty strength is 65. The college is supported by 10 administrative staff and 6 technical staff assisting in laboratories. The courses are run in block-1, Block-2 and Block-4. All courses are approved by and affiliated to Andhra University and are of three years duration run in semester pattern. Syllabus is prescribed by the University. The conduct of semester-end theory and practical examinations and issue of degrees are the prerogative of Andhra University. The college conducts periodical tests for internal assessment. The college environment facilitates for student’s overall development and growth by encouraging them not only in academics but also in participation of events like cultural, literary, sports, NCC, NSS. The college has good infrastructure, well equipped Laboratories, Library, Seminar Halls, Playfields. Sports students are given due encouragement in coaching and for participation in state and National level competitions. Ever since the inception of the college many students won championship trophies, Medals and shields and brought laurels to the college . NCC cadets also make their mark in all events. NSS volunteers are actively engaged in community and social work. The undergraduate programme has two divisions for academic related functions.
