Located in CHAMBERS DEGREE COLLEGE, PALAKOL is named as BHUPATHI RAJU RAMA CHANDRA RAJU & GOPALA KRISHNA RAJU CHAMBERS DEGREE COLLEGE as the philanthropic brothers donated huge amount to the chambers educational society to start the degree college., The B.R.R & G.K.R CHAMBERS DEGREE COLLEGE was started in the year 1994 and hence has been working from the academic year 1994-95 with the blessings of lord Sri KSHEERA RAMA RAMA LINGESWARA and with the permission of govt of A.P. The motto of our educational society is to provide quality education to the students belonging to economically backward sections with very low fees. The society was formed by philanthropists only. Sri MAMIDI NAGESWARA RAO and Sri ADDEPALLI RAM PRASAD were the founder president and the secretary &correspondent of the educational society. With a view to develop the college and improve the facilities, the management collected donations from philanthropic benefactors, institutions and generous citizens. The amount was utilised for the construction of various blocks and to improve the labs etc. Our management is giving fee concessions to the poor students and providing free mid-day meals to needy students. Sri Koppu Satyanarayana became the president of the governing body in the year 2008. He is mainly responsible for the phenomenal grouth and development of the college. He appointed Lion Darisi Srinivasa Rao Gupta as Secretary & correspondent. He has been a source , strength and inspiration to the principal and the staff. Lion Karumuri Sri Ramulu and Lion Chakka Subash Chandra Arya are rendering their valuable services for the all round development of the educational society as additional chairman and treasurer respectively., The college is affiliated to ANDHRA UNIVERSITY, VISAKHAPATNAM. It has an excellent accommodation with impressive infrastructure, such as administrative block, physics,computes,chemistry,life sciences blocks and permanent class rooms. Our college is having presently 153 students strength of final year, 183 of second year,242 of first year, thus there is a total strength of 578 students. We have our own college premises of 2.26 acres of land which also includes 0.75 acres of well developed play ground. We have qualified and experienced teaching staff. Our college students are getting nearly 70% to 80% of pass percentage every academic year and some of them are also getting campus placements in multi national companies every year. The college has become a good educational institution in west godavari district, considering the all round development and infrastructural facilities available in the college, the management decided to start P.G courses also in the same premises from the academic year 2010-11., Education plays a pivotal role in the process of socioeconomic development of every nation and it has a very close link with the nation’s economic development and growth. Education is a continuous process of imparting knowledge, developing skills, inculcating values and promoting the overall development of human beings. Imparting quality education is greatly influenced by different factors viz., Curriculum, Faculty, Information source, Teaching methods, Examination system, Evaluation mechanism, and Infrastructure. Rural areas create a microcosm of the country. The advancement in science and technology, especially IT and communication systems have reached the door steps of the villages today. Hence, the entire world has shrunk into a global village. As such, the rural youth are aspiring for global opportunities. The need of the hour therefore, is to set up educational institutions of global standards to cater to their aspirations and to make them compete with their urban counter parts in facing the challenges and grabbing the opportunities., With its excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, rich libraries with internet facility, competent faculty, job oriented add on courses, Seminars and Workshops, good Play ground, the College offers ample opportunities for student to acquire all the necessary skills and competencies.
