Fun filled and creative Montage 2016 concludes

A show exemplified with Songs, Dance, Paintings, array of Mind catching IT competitions that filled everyone with thrill showed that when young and creative minds are collaborated to perform, the show is certainly rocks. Continuing with the enthusiastic flow and enigmatic colors of the hectic IT fest Montage-2016, second day proved to be diverse at IIIM.

On the first day of the event, competitions such as "Brain Bench", "Aamne Saamne", Bits and Bytes" and "Taal" were the attractions. In Taal - The Antakshri, Ms. Richa Jain and Ms. Kriti Sharma of UOR were the winners and the team of Mr. Durgesh Parashar and Mr. Rajnikant Verma of Shree Karni College were the runners-up.

The Second Day of Montage stared with Drishti The Perception, in this event, games like Dumb-charades, Pictionary, Memory Test were included for participants to interpret information from a number of available resources. Ms. Annu Choudharyand Ms. Sangita Chopra from Shree Karni College won the first place, whereas Ms. Manisha Ramani and Mr. Sameer Nainawat from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR, Jaipur occupied second position.

Rangoli making competition, Spectrum was an event to express colorful spirit for the participants. Ms. Kirti Sharma and Ms. Richa Jain from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR, emerged as the winner and Ms. Amisha Audichya and Ms. Meghna Sarva from Maharshi Arvind Institute of Science & Management, Jaipur were the runners-up in this competition.

"Ooh La La" adapted the popular game "Snakes and Ladders" to test the general awareness and knowledge of the participants. The winner of this competition was Mr. Sunil Kumar from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR and the runner- up was Ms. Payal Shivdasani from Biyani Group of Colleges, Jaipur.

In "Thru-Ur-Eyes", the theme based photography event, ideas, moods and expressions were captured through the digital images on the themes ‘isolated
objects’ , Meta Photos’ and ‘ Reflection’. This event got an overwhelming response from the participants. Ms. Priyanka Kulshrestha and from Shree Karni College stood first and Mr. Anuj Upadhyay from S. S. Jain Subodh PG College stood second in the competition.

Collage Making–On-Computer based event "Pixels" was intended to test the participants ability to make a meaningful collage using images provided to them. Participants made diverse collage on the given theme ‘India: Past, Present and Future’ The team of Mr. Sameer Nainawat and Mr. Sunil Kumar from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR and Mr. Kirti Sharma and Ms. Priya Kumawat from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR bagged the winner and runners-up position respectively.

Code-Acumen was to judge the programming and problem solving ability of the contestants. The participants were required to debug the scripts and to build some programs on the basis of given pattern. Mr. Rakesh Kumar Soni and Mr. Anvesh Kumar Jain from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR won the first prize while Mr. Deepak Sahu and Mr. Vikram Chhipa from Apex Institute of Management & Science stood second.

D4U, the choreography competition was full of joy and passion. This round was to show choreographic and dancing skills. Various enthralling performances were displayed by participants. Ms. Payal Shivdasani and Ms. Sakshi Tanwar from Biyani Group of Colleges college were adjudged as winners while Ms. Anu Choudhary, Ms. Kajal Shekhawat and Ms. Sangita Chopra from Shree Karni College won the second prize in the event.

“EUPHONY” the valediction ceremony of Monatge 2016, was a fun filled program.

IIMites performed on various dance themes like contemporary, classical and hip-hop.

Chief Guest of the valediction ceremony Ms. Nidhi G Agarwal, Advisor, KPMG Jaipur felicitated the winners and runners-up with trophies. The Montage running trophy was awarded to University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR, Jaipur for excelling in all events of the IT fest.

Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director IIIM thanked all participants for making the fest a great success.

    Challenges and Opportunities organised by the Training and Placement Cell of The IIS University commenced on Thursday at Kshipra Path situated India International School auditorium. The chief guest on the occasion was Ms Jyoti Kiran, Chairperson, Rajasthan State Finance Commission. The conference commenced with the welcome address by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr Ashok Gupta. He welcomed the chief guest as well as industry experts and student participants.

    IIIM’s Annual Fest Montage 2015 kicks start today

    Montage 2015, the 11th Annual Inter-Institute IT fest of International School of Informatics & Management, Technical Campus started on Wednesday with enthralling enthusiasm. The inaugural ceremony “UDGHOSH” started with Vandana and was followed by lamp lighting. Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director, IIIM welcomed all guests and participants and shared the institute’s educational and cultural landmarks of the preceding year. Montage 2015 has a participation of around 400 students from 15 technical institutes all over the country.

    JK Business School (JKBS), Gurgaon, one of the premier business schools in the country, organized its 7th Annual Convocation 2015 “Dikshant” at their Gurgaon campus recently. 93 students received their Post Graduate Diplomas. The graduating students belong to two batches of PGDM – 2012-14 & 2013-15. Of the seven medals for excellence in academics, five were bagged by girls.
