Montage 2015, the 11th Annual Inter-Institute IT fest of International School of Informatics & Management, Technical Campus started on Wednesday with enthralling enthusiasm.
The inaugural ceremony “UDGHOSH” started with Vandana and was followed by lamp lighting.
Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director, IIIM welcomed all guests and participants and shared the institute’s educational and cultural landmarks of the preceding year.
Montage 2015 has a participation of around 400 students from 15 technical institutes all over the country.
The very first day of the event had an extended field of activities like “Aamne –Samne”, “Splash”, “Bits & Bytes”, etc.
“Brain-Bench -The quiz” had an innovative approach to quizzing for the participants. It tested the participants’ awareness towards technology and
computer applications. The winners were Abhishek Sharma and Jitendra Sharma from Apex Institute of Management and Science and Salabh Jain and
Mohit Soni from University Centre for Comp. Sci. & I.T., UOR were the runners-up.
Cognitive event “Cross-Roads” gave an opportunity to take the dare of words and vocabulary to the IT wizards. Aditi Verma from Apex Institute of
Management & Science grabbed the first position and Vandana Agarwal from University of Rajasthan was at second position .
Mock press “Aamne-Samne” was a role playing event in which each participant had to mimic as a celebrity and was interviewed by mock reporters. Kanwaljeet Kaur from University of Rajasthan got the first position and Priyanka Kulshreshtha from Shree Karni College was the runner-up.
Participants demonstrated softwares which they had developed using their own technical expertise in “Bits & Bytes”. They described the technical
specifications, front end, back end and working of the software's extended specifications.
“Thru-ur eyes”, ”Spectrum”, “Code-Acumen”, “Drishti”, “Pixels”, “Ooh-la-la” & “D4U(The Dance Choreography)” are technical and fun-filled events which will be the attractions of the second day of MONTAGE-2015.
The valediction ceremony “EUPHONY” where students of IIIM will present the cultural programme will be graced by Shri Ajitabh Sharma, IAS, Secretary,
State Water Resources, Chairman, Indira Gandhi Canal Board, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
