The IIS University organizes HR Conclave 2016

Challenges and Opportunities organised by the Training and Placement Cell of The IIS University commenced on Thursday at Kshipra Path situated India International School auditorium. The chief guest on the occasion was Ms Jyoti Kiran, Chairperson, Rajasthan
State Finance Commission.

The conference commenced with the welcome address by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr Ashok Gupta. He welcomed the chief guest as well as industry experts and student participants.

Ms Jyoti Kiran enlightened the gathering with the importance and opportunities of the startup campaign put forth by the Prime Minister. Since everything originates from the society, Ms Kiran said that we are not the society of job seekers. “Indian society is technically a society of enterprise, she claims”.

“Traditionally we have secured society, our security was distorted in medieval times,” she said.

Ms Jyoti Kiran further said that startups come in the cultural specification and traditional support system for which our society is capable enough. She ends her speech with reading out the work done by the Rajasthan Government under startup campaign.

Mr. Dilnawaz Khan, Programme Coordinator, Startup Oasis present on the occasion shed light on planning and ideation for startups. Paresh Gupta, CEO, Headstart Network discussed how to do the financial planning before starting up the startups. Mr. Sagar Aggarwal, Co-Founder, Hippo Cabs, Mr. Vishwas Shringi, Co-Founder Voylla.com and Mr. Rahul Mundra, Founder, Chaisa have also shown their presence in the conclave.

On the occasion, Ms. Kanta Ahuja, Former Vice-Chancellor, University of Rajasthan was the chairperson while IPS P.K.Tiwari, Ms. Rachana Singh, Journalist and Ms. Ruchi Bhargava Theatre Artisit were among the judges panel. The university and colleges from across the country have participated in the debate. It has given the participants a national platform to express themselves and hone debating skills.
