Pennsylvanian Students Visit to The IIS University Concluded

The IIS University, Jaipur

The six-day visit of a ten-day member student group from Pennsylvania State University, USA to The IIS University concluded on Tuesday.

The visit was a part of an agreement signed between the two institutions in the year 2013 for purposes of academic and cultural exchange for mutual understanding and benefit of students from the two countries. This was the third consecutive visit to the university by the Pennsylvanian students.

A cultural programme ‘East meets West’ was held where university students represented Indian as well as western culture through various dance forms. The Penn state students have also shown their skills. One of the students from the group mesmerized the audience when she performed the stunts with Hula Hoop.

The performance that stole the show was when the foreign students showed the moves on Indian Bollywood songs which they learned in the dance classes attended during the visit.

The Penn state students have also shared their feelings and tried to express that both the countries might be different in culture, language etc but the feelings, emotions lying in the heart are same and this is the reason why they feel connected.

    Pennsylvanian students on 7 day visit to The IIS University As a part of an agreement between the IIS University, Jaipur and the Pennsylvania State University, USA, a group of 8 students from The Penn State reached The IIS University, Jaipur on Friday. This seven-day visit is a part of an agreement signed between the two institutions in the year 2013 for purposes of academic and cultural exchange for mutual understanding and benefit of students from the two countries. This is the fourth visit to the university by the Pennsylvanian students.

    A ten-day member student group from Pennsylvania State University, USA is coming to Jaipur on a six-day visit to The IIS University beginning from Thursday. The visit is a part of an agreement signed between the two institutions in the year 2013 for purposes of academic and cultural exchange for mutual understanding and benefit of students from the two countries. The students will be accompanied by Indian origin Sakshi Bhargava who is doing Phd from Pennsylvania State University.

    In an initiative taken by the Star Sports Pro Kabbadi League, the volunteers reached The IIS University on Friday to execute an awareness drive on cleanliness. A group of 23 volunteers visit the university campus and had an interactive session with the Journalism and Mass Communication students of the university about the Swachch Bharat Campaign.
