NIHFW New Delhi announces Distance Learning Diploma Courses 2015

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare(NIHFW), New Delhi invites applications for Distance Learning Diploma Courses for the year 2015.

Distance Learning Diploma Courses is conducted by National Institute of Health and Family Welfare(NIHFW), New Delhi.

Duration: 1 Year

Distance Learning Diploma Courses Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

i) Health and Family Welfare Management (H&FWM): MBBS/BDS/Bachelor of AYUSH/B.Sc (Nursing)/M.Pharma

i. Must be registered with respective State/ National Council. Candidates having degrees from abroad must clear the MCI test

ii. 2 years experience in a Govt./NGO/ Private or Corporate Institution as on 15th May 2015

ii) Hospital Management: MBBS/BDS/Bachelor of AYUSH/B.Sc (Nursing)/M.Pharma and 2 years experience in a Govt./NGO/Private/Corporate Hospitals/Institutes OR

B.Pharma / Bachelor in Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy/D. Pharma/General Nursing & Midwifery and 3 years experience in a Govt./NGO/Private/Corporate Hospitals/Institutes

iii) Health Promotion: PG in Science, Behavioural Science/Management/Commerce/Accounts

i. Successful completion

ii. 1 year experience in a Govt./NGO/Private or Corporate Institute as on 15th May, 2015

iv) Diploma in Health Communication: Bachelor's degree from any recognised university in any disciplines

v) Diploma in Applied Epidemiology:

Medical graduates with registration in State/National council

Dental Graduates with registration in State/National council

AYUSH graduates with registration in State/National council

Nursing (BSc) graduates with Public Health experience of at least three years

Non-medical graduates (of Science with Biology background) with Public Health experience of at least three years as on 15th May, 2015

vi) Diploma in Public Health Nutrition

Nutrition/ Home Science Graduates particularly working in the field of public health nutrition

Medical graduates (from a recognised MCI Medical College/School) with/without Public Health experience of at least three years

Dental Graduates with/without Public Health experience of at least three years

AYUSH graduates with/without Public Health experience of at least three years

Nursing (BSc) graduates with Public Health experience of at least three years

Non-medical graduates (of Science with Biology background) with Public Health experience of at least three years

Application Procedure for Distance Learning Diploma Courses:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> Once the application with requisite fees is received in this office, no request for withdrawal is permissible and fees deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances

=> The fee will be refunded only to those, who have not been selected for the course by the screening committee

=> Those who fail to complete the course in the same year will have to deposit again a continuation fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only in subsequent years, in which the candidate wants to complete the course

=> A candidate seeking admission to the course is required to send his/her application in the prescribed format, given at the end of the prospectus duly completed, along with requisite fees

Candidates are required to submit following Documents:
=> Demand draft of requisite amount
=> Self attested copy of certificate of Birth
=> Self attested copy of Degree of MBBS/BDS/Bachelor of AYUSH /B.Sc (Nursing)/M.Pharma as applicable
=> Copy of Registration certificate with respective National/State council
=> Experience certificate from the Employer
=> No objection certificate from the employer, for those in Govt. Services

Incomplete application in any respect is likely to be rejected

Course Fee Rs.21000/- (one time)

Prospectus Fee Rs.200/-

  • Last date for receipt of Applications : 15th May 2015
  • Last date for receipt of Applications with late Fee 500/- : 31st May 2015
  • Assignments-I: 31st Dec., 2015 (last date); 15th Jan 2016 (with late fee)
  • Assignments-II: 31st April 2016 (last date); 15th May 2016 (with late fee)
  • Project Report:15th May 2016 (last date); 31st May 2016 (with late fee)

NIHFW was established on 9th March, 1977 by merger of National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP).
