The University Of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore was the first in the country to start the ( Agricultural Marketing and Co-Operation) degree programme in the year 1976. Subsequently the department introduced Masters Degree programme in Agricultural Marketing and Co Operation in 1995 .During this year,the department has introduced a two year fulltime residential PG programme - MBA(Agri. Business Management) . The department is entrusted with the responsibilities of teaching, research and extension education in the areas of Marketing,finance , Finance, Co-Operation , grading ,accountancy ,etc.
