Department of Political Science & Public Administration

The Department of Political Science & Public Administration is one of the first and the oldest departments of Sambalpur University, established in 1967. It offers courses at the M.A. & M. Phil levels at par with advanced universities of India.

It has a team of excellent teachers with requisite specialization devoted to academic care and counseling of the students. It is an excellent center for students preparing for Civil Service Examinations at the State and National level. It has produced a number of Civil Servants, who are serving the State of Odisha, and other States of Nation. For Research Programmes as well as for Civil Service Examinations, it is an excellent seat of learning.
