Department of Educational Administration
The Department of Educational Administration was started in the M.S.University of Baroda in 1951 under the able leadership of Prof. S.N.Mukherjee, founder Head & Dean, Faculty of Education and Psychology. The vision of starting the unique Department was to produce qualified and trained educational administrators at all levels of education. NPE, 1986 and Programme of Action, 1992 also emphatically recommended to make the system work. Giving importance to educational administration, the Indian government has given university status to NIEPA now NUEPA, New Delhi.
