The University Department of Banking and Insurance is the premier department devoted exclusively to teaching, advanced research, extension and consultancy in the areas of Banking and Insurance. Department offers two year M.Com. degree programme, One year P.G.Diploma in Banking and at U.G. level as an optional subjects.The Department have also started a Professional self-Finance P.G.Diploma in Banking and Insurance (PGDBI)course. The compulsory internship programme is an integral part of the course curriculum at all P.G. Courses. the compulsory practical training system caters to those who propose to prepare for middle-level professional positions in Banks and other financial institutions.Research Programmes are also provided for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the subject.
