The School of Statistics runs M.Sc./M.A/MPhil. courses in Statistics. The course covers the major topics required for NET, ISS (Indian Statistical services) and other competitive examinations. Besides, our syllabus and training is appreciated by various multinational companies, which is evident from the number and type of placements of our students.

• One of the very few Statistics departments in North India-- to have implemented UGC Unified syllabus in toto in 2003.

• A module on Computer packages and programming has been added in order to improve employment opportunities.

• Major projects in Semesters III, and IV as per UGC unified Syllabus.

• Summer projects after semester II. As a result, the student on passing M.Sc. goes with 1 year experience along with M.Sc. degree
