School of Life Science is one of the oldest departments of the university existing from the date of inception of the university and has completed about three decades. The School of Life Science offers excellent post graduate courses in M. Sc. Life Sciences and M. Sc. Industrial Microbiology. The School also offers opportunities for doctoral [Ph.D.] and post doctoral research in the modern branches of biological sciences. The School has one of the best equipped laboratories in the country for research.
The School has the objective of providing the best post-graduate courses in biological sciences with flexibility to meet the needs of changing times. The school already has state of the art laboratories for doing research in pure and applied branches of biological sciences. These laboratories have been continuously upgraded in the last three decades with various research grants and this endevour will continue in future.
