About Department of Minority Cell

Background, academic mission, and departmental profile

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore established a Minority Cell in 1984 to fulfill the academic requirement of students belonging to the Minority/SC and ST Categories.

Aims & Objectives

The Minority Cell imparts comprehensive training to Minority, O.B.C., SC & ST students preparing for Various State Level and National Level competitive Exams. As per decision taken by the Minority Cell, Advisory Council, General Category students have also been permitted to attend the Training Programme and Nominal Fees is charged from them. The basic aim of the Minority Cell is to enabling the Minority, O.B.C., SC & ST students to get selected in large numbers in competitive Exams, and make a meaningful contribution to National Progress.
