Master of Science (MSc Geo Informatics)

M.Sc Geo-Informatics- Geoinformatics encompasses a collection of techniques, technologies, and tools for the acquisition, processing, management,analysis,and presentation of Geospatial data. Geoinformatics has become an inevitable tool in rural development, forest management, urban development planning, land information systems, health care, business and market optimization, utilities, infrastructure, telecommunications, agricultural development and several other e-Governance applications. The Geoinformatics division of the Institute aims to offer very high quality training in Geoinformatics and its allied areas in tune with constantly evolving Geo-ICT perspective. The division also provides solutions and services to the Government in strengthening its use and applications in various sectors.
