Diploma Lower Diploma in Sanskrit / Ardhamagadhi / Pali (DLDSAP) - Sanskrit is a historical Indo-Aryan language, the primaryliturgical language of Hinduism and a literary and scholarly language in Jainism and Buddhism. Today, it is listed as one of the 22 scheduled languages of India and is an official language of the state of Uttarakhand. Sanskrit holds a prominent position in Indo-European studies.Classical Sanskrit is the standard register as laid out in the grammar of P??ini, around the 4th century BCE.

Ardhamagadhi is a term loosely used for the language of the Jain Agamas (canonical texts). The books of Jainism were written in the popular vernacular dialects (as opposed to Sanskrit which was the classical standard of Brahmanism), and therefore encompass a number of related dialects.
