M.A. Sanskrit - Stands for Master of Arts in Sanskrit. Typically, a M.A.(Sanskrit) is a two year course, minimum eligibility for which is a B.A. in Sanskrit or any equivalent degree with Sanskrit as a subject. Sanskrit is an Indo-Aryan language and the main liturgical language of Buddhism and Hinduism.
