Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a 3-year bachelor's degree program in India awarded for an undergraduate course in liberal arts. BA Honours Honours courses in BA are offered by several universities across India. To be eligible for a BA program in India, students must have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) with a minimum percentage of marks required by the university or college. Some universities and colleges may also conduct entrance exams or interviews to select candidates for the program. Graduates who have successfully completed BA programs can further their study by option for postgraduate programs in Arts. After the successful completion of this course, candidates can pursue the higher studies program and enroll for (Honours in BA), and also go with a Postgraduate program, Master of Arts (MA), and continue specialized study in their related subjects.
