The New College is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and has got permanent affiliation in …….. The New College, Kolhapur has got recognition by UGC under section 2(f) and 12B on 30th April 1976. The New College, Kolhapur has been accredited by NAAC on 3rd May 2004 and has acquired B+ (*****) grade. The New College, Kolhapur is situated in the heart of the city about 2 Km away from famous Mahalaxmi Temple. Ours College is multidisciplinary with Arts, Commerce, Science, IT and Management faculties. The College provides traditional as well as professional courses. The College has stated B.C.S. in 2001, B.B.A. in 2007 and B.C.A. in 2008.

    The college aims at complete physical, intellectual and personal development along with students academic progress in accordance with the rules of the university and the government. The ultimate aim is to turn them into a highly cultivated and cultured citizens so as to help them to face the challenges of future.

    Admissions to all Third year classes are givan immediately after the decleration of Second year results.

    Admissions are given to the first year of Arts, Science and Commerce as per the subjects offered and the results of HSC or its equivalent examination.

    Original documents (such as HSC mark list, leaving certificate, concession form and certificates related to them) are not returned. Students are advised to keep xerox copies of the same before seeking admission.

    Students applying for concession in fees given by the government should submit such application forms along with the required original certificates and documents at the time of admission. In the absence of such application, the concerned student will have to pay fees for the complete academic year at the time of admission.

    If a student desires to cancel his admission for any reason, he is not entitled to get his original document without paying the fees for academic year.

    Caution money will not be refunded unless the application for it is accompanied by the receipt for the fees. Caution money is refunded only during the Diwali and Summer vacation.
