B.Tech Civil Engineering- Civil engineering involves the exploration, research, planning, analysis, design, construction, and operation of facilities essential to modern life. Civil engineering systems include highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, and aerospace structures, railways, pipelines, dams, irrigation systems, towers, buildings for commerce and industry, water supply and distribution networks, and waste management facilities. The civil engineer is a people-serving professional who is manager of resources as well a technology. The civil engineer plans, designs, constructs and maintains facilities essential to modern life in both the public and private sectors.Consistent with the high aims of the civil engineering profession, this department seeks to ensure its academic program focuses on providing a broad base of ethical knowledge and behavior as well as modern leading edge technology. The department accomplishes its mission through the linkage of the student, faculty, and staff in a special academic community within a quality environment, achieving the intended development of the student through the enriched personal, professional, and educational growth of each individual.
