Bharath Graduate Engineering Entrance Test (BGEET) is an entrance examination conducted by Bharath University for admissions to M.tech courses.
Admissions to M.Tech are also done directly based on GATE score. The candidates who have not appeared for GATE, can appear for BGEET to get admission into M.Tech course.
The candidates who qualify the BGEET will be given admissions in Bharath Institute of Science and Technology and College of Engineering affiliated to the Bharath University. Admission to M.Tech program will be on the basis of rank secured in the Bharath Graduate Engineering Entrance Test (BGEET).
After qualifying in the examination, common merit list is prepared and candidates will be called for counseling.

There is no age limit for appearing for BGEET.
Candidates should have any B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent examinations approved by UGC/AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent CGPA are eligible for respective courses.
The candidate should have passed in B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.
The BGEET paper is Multiple Choice Question type paper. The questions are based on the subjects and topics of the respective discipline in B.Tech level. The paper pattern largely follows that of GATE exam pattern.
Test duration: 3 Hours
Marking System: Total marks of the question paper will be 100. No negative marking for the wrong answer.
BGEET is conducted in 30 cities all over India. Following is the list of cities where the exam will be conducted will be published in the information brochure also.

BGEET hall ticket can be downloaded from the official portal on scheduled date and time. The actual date for Hall ticket will be updated on this page once it is announced officially.
The selection will be recommended strictly on the basis of rank obtained in the entrance examination. Allotment of streams / institutions shall be made through counselling.
Once the results are declared, the board will conduct the counseling which will be held as per the merit list prepared for candidates and as per the rank lists, as decided by the board.
