60th Convocation of Gujarat University held

S S Mantha, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) attended the 60th Convocation of Gujarat University as chief Guest.

Mantha urged the university to go beyond books and educate students in extracurricular activities too.

More than 60,000 students were awarded certificates which was embedded with a micro chip containing all information about the student.

96th Convocation Of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) organised on Thursday 27th March 2014

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India's premier university, organised its 96th convocation ceremony on Amphitheater Ground on Thursday 27th March 2014 Degrees were conferred upon 10,757 students and 29 meritorious students were awarded medals on the occasion. Padma Vibhushan Dr. Jayant Vishnu Narlikar, Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics was the chief Guest. While delivering convocation address, Dr. Jayant Vishnu Narlikar emphasised that education and research should go together.

IIM, Raipur celebrates its 3rd Annual Convocation Day

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) celebrated its 3rd Annual Convocation Day by awarding the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) to 98 students. Sunil Munjal, the Joint Managing Director of HeroMotocorp Ltd., and Chairman Hero Corporate Service Ltd., was the chief guest of the convocation.
