Chapter 11: Coordinate Geometry
From this chapter, the students will learn about the rectangular coordinate plane and different methods to find the distance between two points. The students will get to know about the Cartesian system and Quadrants. Another concept that is explained in this chapter is Plotting on a graph.
Chapter 12: Heron’s Formula
This chapter with the revision of earlier studied concepts like properties of different shapes and closed figures. To know the concepts in the chapter, the students have to first remember the formulas to calculate the perimeter of different shapes. Then, Heron’s Formula is explained in this chapter. The students will be explained how to find the area of quadrilaterals using Heron’s Formula.
