The Department of Business Management was set up by the University in the year 1996 with the approval of the then State Government of Uttar Pradesh and after obtaining permission from the All India Council For Technical Education, New-Delhi for running two - year Full Time MBA Degree course. The Course is approved by the All India Council For Technical Association, New-Delhi and the Department has been obtaining approval from the Council from time to time. The total approved intake of the student is sixty seats.
Mode of Admission- Presently the students for admission in this M B A Degree course are selected through All India level Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi.
Infrastructure -The Department is housed in its own spacious, airy and well structured building situated in the west end block of the new University Campus at Chauras across river Alaknanda. The class rooms are equipped with overhead projectors, LCD Projectors and other modern audio, video gadgets. The Department has its own in house Departmental Library full of excellent Books related to Management and allied subjects. The Department has its own computer Laboratory for exclusive use of MBA students with sixty computers on LAN with internet facility. The Department has its own air conditioned seminar hall with a seating capacity of one hundred and twenty persons equipped with high resolution Toshiba L C D Projector and Electronic Board with Interactive Panel.
