Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

* Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board
* The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2014 and awaiting result can also appear in the exam
* Candidates must have taken five subjects in 12th Standard. He/she must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology* as core subjects in 12th standard
* Eligible for admission in B.Tech-Bioinformatics only

SRMHCAT 2014 Pattern

SRMHCAT will consist of 100 questions carrying 300 Marks. The correct answer for each question will carry 3 Marks. There is no negative marking. The Medium of language for questions papers will be English only
SRMHCAT will be conducted in both Offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) and Online (Computer Based Examination) only for Candidates applying for B.Tech/MBA/M.Tech Courses

For B.Tech the entrance examination would be held through online as well as offline mode and they can choose their exam mode as per the preference and convenience

For B.Com, MBA (Integrated) B.LIS, M.A. (English) and M.LIS courses entrance examination would be conducted only by offline mode

For MBA and M.Tech courses entrance examination would be conducted only by online mode

Candidates can apply for SRMHCAT by any of the Online and Offline mode

Offline Mode: Candidate can purchase the application form for SRMHCAT 2014 from the following Approved sale centers by making a payment of Rs.950/- (Rs. Nine hundred and fifty only) as Demand Draft

Admit Card

SRMHCAT 2014 Admit-card can be downloaded from university official website www.srmuniversity.ac.in from 15th May 2014 onwards, if you have submitted the application form successfully (both online/offline) On obtaining the Admit-card, it must be verified carefully
