The prime aim of designing this post basic nursing study course is to provide an educational programme through professional nursing. The study prepares responsible candidates for dealing the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary nursing care of people as professional nurses. The study focused on the aspects of teaching and supervising to appropriate nursing and health care in a different setting and participate in the administration of nursing service and education. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of post basic nursing study in subjects Like: Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Nursing Foundation (Theory & Practical ), Microbiology, Communication and Educational Technology, Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental and Statistics, Management of Nursing Services and Education.

Eligibility

The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Education or an Equivalent Examination, for Science stream and additional subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, minimum 50% marks are eligible for pursuing this program. It is mandatory for candidates to passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Course Indian Nursing Council (INC), recognized Institution.
